About project
The ESCAPE projection was created by a Hungarian pioneer of videomapping. His play of light with a facade is minimalist in colour, but unafraid of using figurative motifs. This combination of figurative and abstract elements with dramatic musical tones from the renowned Icelandic composer Jóhann Jóhansson creates a unique approach to videomapping. When watching Escape viewers get the impression that the facade is transforming before their eyes into compelling humanoids, who at one point spy the viewer with unsettling glances and gaze at them suspiciously, and at another fall somewhere into the depths of space as a symbol of the fragility of human destiny.
