/CZ/ Atelier BelCandor is the creation of Matyáš Kavan and Sandra Kavanová Cieslarová, practitioners of light design, stage design, graphic design and light projection. Their past works include a pyrotechnic light installation in Vítkov or lightening on the National Museum building as part of Prague Museum Night and project a unique light installation for the new science center in Brno executed together with Projektil architects. Matyáš Kavan is the only Czech member of the prestigious International Association of Light Designers.

The playful and thematically eased Mesuda installation is transformed the Petřín Lookout Tower into a giant aquatic creature, whose bright tentacles wave and suck at their surroundings. This is all made possible by 12 reflectors kindly lent by ROBE, a company involved in manufacturing quality moving light equipment.
The soaring installation in the centre of Prague was clearly visible from various parts of the city. However, the jellyfish’s rays curiously also shined on some of the other festival locations and from afar also showed visitors how to get to them.
