Olivier Ratsi

/FR/ The French artist Olivier Ratsi focuses on perceptions of space and experiences of reality. His creative process consists of deconstructing space and time and his goal is to create new associations and seek out new points of view. Ratsi studies various artistic techniques, from photography and digital painting to video and installations, even performance. In 2007 he became a member of the label Antivj, which uses the medium of light to explore various formats of immersive experience.

Onion Skin by French artist Olivier Ratsi plays with perspective and through it with time and space. A module composed of two walls shifted into a right angle becomes a canvas for a light projection augmented by an audiospatial component. The installation is based on a very specific point of view – the precise position of the viewer thereby influences the experience.
