Signal Calling 2019 knows its winner"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Support of young Czech art is crucial for us, thus we have announced the Signal Calling open call for the third time. The jury, composed of representatives of the Signal Festival\u2019s artistic council and <a href=\"https:\/\/prusalab.cz\/en\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><strong>PrusaLab<\/strong><\/a>, this year\u2019s co-organizer of the opencall, was choosing from 19 projects. The quality, idea, originality and technical design of the projects were evaluated.<\/p>\n<p><strong>And the winner is\u2026<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>\u2026 young architects <a href=\"http:\/\/petrvacek.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><strong>Petr Vacek<\/strong><\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/vjemy.cz\/en\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><strong>Adam Cigler<\/strong><\/a>! They were connected by studies at the Faculty of Arts and Architecture in Liberec and a&nbsp;common enthusiasm for space, science and advanced technologies. A&nbsp;motto <strong><em>design\u200a\u2014\u200acode\u200a\u2014\u200amake<\/em><\/strong> accurately captures their fascination with a&nbsp;combination of creative art process and advanced technologies.<\/p>\n<p>They will present the <strong><em>Reflexis<\/em><\/strong> project at the Signal Festival. This sci-fi object, consisting of moving mirrors, absorbs and morphs the viewer\u2019s reflection according to its own scenario. The visitor, who becomes a&nbsp;part of the installation, thus gets a&nbsp;chance to reflect on himself, society and the past.<\/p>\n<p>Congratulations to the winners and we are looking forward to creating their installation.
