Everything you need to know about this year’s festival, but were afraid to ask.

10. 10. 2025 → SIGNAL 2025

Signal Festival 2025 starts in a couple of days!

We hope you are looking forward to it as much as we are. In this newsletter, we have prepared an overview of the most important things you need to know before the festival.

This year’s Signal Festival will feature 20 installations, 7 of which will be exclusively in the Signal INSIDE zone, for which you can already purchase tickets. Whenever you decide to visit the festival, a visit to Signal INSIDE should be part of your plan.

What videomappings have we prepared?

As part of the thirteenth annual Signal Festival, you can look forward to one video mapping on each of the festival routes. For the first time in the festival’s history, video mapping will bring the Old Town Hall tower to life.

After three years, a favorite is also returning – we will once again transform the facade of St. Ludmila’s Basilica on Náměstí Míru.

One of the partners of the video mapping at the Old Town Hall is Prague City Tourism. In addition to the special video mapping, you can play Playing Prague and change the appearance of the capital city through your mobile phone! Among other things, you can look forward to a video mapping spot from NIVEA, prepared by artist and animator Ondřej Rakušan and music producer and multimedia artist Aid Kid, whose real name is Ondřej Mikula, who have already presented their art several times in previous years.

How to get around the festival?

The best way to enjoy the festival is on foot. A walk through Prague in the evening is part of the experience. For safety reasons, we ask visitors not to ride bicycles, e-bikes, scooters, or other similar vehicles in the vicinity of the locations. There is an increased number of pedestrians on the streets.

Together with our partner, the ČEZ Group, we are introducing the Pomáhej pohybem (Help through Movement) app this year. So whether you are running or walking from one installation to another, your activity and energy will generate points for planting trees and shrubs through the EPP app as part of the non-profit organization Sázíme stromy (We Plant Trees), which the ČEZ Group will financially support through the ČEZ Foundation.

Will a printed map also be available?

Together with Deník N, we are preparing a special edition with a reliable festival guide during the festival. You can get it for free at all ticket offices for paid installations.

It includes stories about the art installations, a selection of the best of the program, and, of course, a printed map. Our volunteers, SIGNALISTS in distinctive yellow jackets, will also be handing out copies on the streets. Don’t miss out!

Thanks to our partnership with Deník N, we can also offer you a trial digital subscription for only CZK 29, with Klub N benefits, including full access to The New York Times, for only CZK 49. If you haven’t subscribed yet, don’t hesitate.
