This year, eight installations from the festival’s special zone take over architecturally exceptional interiors, bringing contemporary digital art into dialogue with history and creating experiences that are anything but ordinary. Step inside a church, chapel or historic wastewater treatment plant and, for four nights, discover spaces transformed into gateways to other realities. Light, sound, image and movement come alive, giving familiar places an entirely new dimension. Every space, every artwork and every moment comes together to create an experience that exists only here, only now.

Media.tribe → Faculty of Law
The iconic Faculty of Law of Charles University, designed by Czech architect Jan Kotěra, becomes a space in constant transformation with MIMIC.2 by Media.tribe.
Solid architectural forms are reshaped through laser projections, LED screens and real-time generated animations. Lines, points and volumes emerge from the darkness, expand into the space and then dissolve again.
The installation unfolds in the building’s entrance hall, nicknamed the “pool” for its distinctive geometric layout and glass roof. Its clean lines and precise architecture provide the perfect canvas for this choreography of light.
Timo Lejeune → Church of St. Simon and St. Jude
During the festival, the Church of St. Simon and St. Jude becomes a space suspended between the past and the distant future. Inside the Baroque interior, now used as a concert hall, Timo Lejeune presents his monumental installation Dreaming Infinite.
At the heart of the work stands a central monolith surrounded by a group of smaller sculptures, creating a dialogue between the fleeting nature of technology and the human desire to leave something behind for future generations. Driven by an evolutionary algorithm, these artefacts are constantly changing, generating new forms, symbols and sonic structures.
The contrast between centuries-old architecture and a technology that never produces the same image twice raises a timeless question: what will we leave behind, and what might the world look like 10,000 years from now?
MUCHA Studio → Masaryk College
Masaryk College, a hub of student life since it opened in 1927, becomes a playground for light and projection, bringing contemporary light design together with technologies and techniques inspired by the 1970s and 1980s.
With Residual Signal, MUCHA Studio pays tribute to pioneers of video art and experimental computer art, Woody and Steina Vasulka. Fragments of their work are brought into the present, broken apart, layered and transformed into new audiovisual compositions.
In the interactive section, you can become part of the system yourself. A camera captures your image and breaks it down into fragments, which are then layered and transformed across a wall of vintage CRT displays.
Kurt Hentschläger → Savarin Riding Hall
Hidden just steps away from the busy Na Příkopě street, Savarin Riding Hall becomes the setting for an intense sensory experience during the festival.
Inside the historic Baroque palace, Austrian artist Kurt Hentschläger presents the immersive installation FLUX, built around complete darkness, short bursts of intense light and ambient sound.
Each flash briefly reveals the space while leaving a fleeting image on your retina. What we actually see and what our minds fill in becomes increasingly difficult to distinguish.
Please note that the installation takes place in complete darkness and features intense flashes of light, which may cause discomfort. Please take your health condition into consideration when deciding whether to visit. The installation is suitable for visitors aged 12 and over.

Gábor Kitzinger, András László Nagy, Rozi Mákó → Mirror Chapel of the Clementinum
The Mirror Chapel of the Clementinum is one of Prague’s most spectacular Baroque interiors. Marble, gilded stucco, frescoes, mirrors and a historic organ come together to create a space that is itself a work of art.
Artists Gábor Kitzinger, András László Nagy and Rozi Mákó bring their interactive X Kinetic Techno Sculpture into this extraordinary setting – and invite you to become part of the work. Lie down on a specially designed lounger and sensors will translate your heartbeat and breathing into the installation itself, controlling suspended LEDs, eighteen robotic lights, strobes, a hazer and a soundscape created live on site.
