Felix Frank (DE)

Felix Frank specialises in video mapping and light installations. He grew up and studied in Munich, Paris and Barcelona, where he completed a Master’s degree in Motion Design. The hip-hop and graffiti scene of the early 1990s sparked his passion for creative expression and his desire to transform both his surroundings and reality itself. Today, he has exchanged spray cans for projectors, creating what he describes as “paintings of light”. His visual language is defined by highly detailed animation and the use of carefully selected frequencies embedded within the accompanying soundtracks. As a result, the final audiovisual experience evokes the transformative states often associated with meditation and conscious breathing.

Felix Frank currently lives and works in Munich as a digital artist and designer. His work has been presented internationally, and he has received awards at video mapping competitions including Tokyo Lights and Constellations de Metz.
