About project

Signal AR is an augmented reality experience that requires downloading the Signal festival mobile app from the App Store or Google Play. Selected locations will offer the possibility to view the art installations through your mobile device. We recommend visiting the sites during daylight hours, between 8:00 – 19:00, depending on the season.

A red sun appeared in the sky. And with it, a flock of strange creatures that have left the digital ocean of their own dimension and entered our world through the portal in Karlínské náměstí. Their alien dance is reminiscent of a mysterious ascension celebration from which one cannot take one’s eyes away. The festive ritual will remind you of an order that will hypnotise and calm you without you having to understand it.

About artist

Longiy is a visual designer. He began his creative career by studying classical illustration (Ladislav Sutnar University of Fine Arts in Pilsen), but soon turned to graphic design (FUD UJEP in Ústí nad Labem) and from there he continued to the studio of film and television graphics (UMPRUM) in Prague. His work and style are dressed in garish colours that sometimes clash with hard line and flat black and white. Currently, he mainly collaborates with BRAINZ IMMERSIVE studio on virtual and augmented reality projects. He also works for the studio LOOM ON THE MOON as a creator of animated short films for architectural studios and museum institutions.
