7 Days to Signal Festival: Everything You Need to Know

8. 10. 2026 → SIGNAL 2026

Seven Days Until Signal Festival

Signal Festival starts exactly one week from today! So now is the perfect time to explore the programme, make a list of the installations you don’t want to miss, and plan your route.

Whether you’re planning to explore Prague’s streets for just one evening or spread your festival experience across several days, we’ve put together all the practical information you need to make the most of your visit. Plus, we have a few tips to help you enjoy Signal even more.

Where is Signal Festival taking place this year?

This year, Signal Festival features 21 installations across two routes: in the city centre and, for the first time, in Dejvice. You can find a detailed map in the Programme & Map section of our website.

When is the festival taking place?

The festival runs from Thursday 15 October to Sunday 18 October 2026.

The official opening will take place on Thursday, 15 October at 7:00 PM at the Archbishop’s Seminary, the location of Felix Franke’s video mapping.

When are the installations open?

The installations are open from 7:00 PM to midnight. Visitors with a VIP ticket can enter the paid Signal INSIDE installations from 6:00 PM, while the children’s installation Sound Robot will be open from 2:00 PM.

If you’d like to enjoy a more relaxed walk through the city, we recommend arriving after 9:00 PM.

Do I need a ticket?

Most installations, including both video mappings, are free of charge. If you want to get really close to the artworks — and often become part of them — get a Signal INSIDE ticket, which gives you access to eight installations in architecturally exceptional interiors.

→ One-day ticket

→ 4-day ticket with unlimited re-entry

→ VIP ticket with priority access, entry to the interiors one hour earlier, a Mercedes-Benz VIP shuttle between the two routes, a welcome drink, and access to the Signal Space gallery for six months.

→ Signal UNIVERSE with unlimited re-entry to Signal INSIDE and access to the Signal Space gallery for six months.

How to get around the festival?

The best way to reach us is by public transport with our festival partner PID. For example, you can start your visit at Dejvická metro station for the Dejvice route or Staroměstská station for the City Centre route.

And then comes the best part: explore the festival on foot, discovering individual locations along the way while enjoying Prague after dark.

For safety reasons, we kindly ask visitors not to ride bicycles, e-bikes, scooters or similar vehicles around the festival locations.

Help us keep the city clean

This year, we’re part of Třídíme v pohybu by EKO-KOM, a project that makes it possible to sort waste directly along the festival routes.

Signal Festival is part of the Třídíme v pohybu project by EKO-KOM.

→ Prague 1: special bins for plastic will be available near the installations, and waste sorting will also be possible inside the indoor installations.

→ Prague 6: ten special sorting bins will be available for plastics, metals and mixed waste.

Because sorting waste matters not only at home, but also during cultural experiences, at festivals and while exploring the city.

THANK YOU

Signal Festival is at its best when we look out for one another. Please follow the instructions of the festival team, watch out for cars and trams, and let families with children and visitors with reduced mobility go ahead of you.
