Signal Festival also cares about the environment and keeping the city where it takes place clean.
Together with Třídíme v pohybu, a project by EKO-KOM, we’re giving visitors the opportunity to sort the waste they produce at the festival directly along the festival routes.
You’ll be able to sort your waste both in Prague city centre and in Dejvice. Around the light installations in Prague 1, you’ll find special bins for plastic, and waste sorting will also be available at the indoor exhibitions. In Prague 6, ten special sorting bins will be placed where you can dispose of plastic, metal and mixed waste.
We want to show that sorting waste makes sense outside the home too — whether you’re at a festival, playing sports, on a day trip or simply taking an evening walk through the city. After all, only properly sorted waste has a chance to be recycled or put to further use.
Once the festival is over, the sorted waste will be collected and sent for further processing. Plastics and metals can be used as secondary raw materials, while mixed waste will be processed appropriately.
