Timo Lejeune (NL)

Timo Lejeune is an audiovisual artist, innovator and lighting designer. His work brings together light, music and aesthetics of systems design, modular solutions and intuitive interaction. He has presented his work at leading European festivals and institutions, including Lowlands, Mysteryland, Extrema, the Toronto Light Festival and GLOW.

Lejeune is also the founder of the multidisciplinary studio Lumus Instruments, which works across light, sound and matter in the fields of installation art and scenography. Together with collaborators Julius Oosting and Timothy Hendriks, whose backgrounds span design, architecture and engineering, the studio continually explores new forms inspired by the physical manifestations of digital technology. Their work investigates how these systems shape our perception of space and time, while encouraging reflection on what it means to be human in the digital age.
