Karolína Schulzová (CZ)

Karolína Schulzová (born 2004, Prague) is currently in her fourth year of study at the Faculty of Art and Design of Jan Evangelista Purkyně University in Ústí nad Labem (UJEP), where she is enrolled in the Interactive Media Studio led by Pavel Kopřiva.

The Interactive Media Studio embraces artistic disciplines ranging from traditional workshop-based craftsmanship through electronics, creative tinkering and programming to the exploration of light, sound and movement. The studio addresses both subtle aspects of local environments and broader global issues.

In her own practice, Karolína Schulzová combines graphic design with new media. She is particularly interested in literature and hopes to pursue filmmaking in the future, with a focus on visual effects. As part of another studio project devoted to the town of Roudnice nad Labem and the Ervín Špindler Library, she presented the work You Have Undergone Memory Erasure.
