About project
Felix Frank transforms architecture into a living, ever-evolving organism. His video mapping turns the building into a dynamic landscape of light and rhythm – familiar forms dissolve and reassemble into new configurations, much like images in a dream.
The composition begins with simple analytical interventions that gradually develop into complex structures before culminating in monumental geometric formations. Frank works with a restrained palette of black and white, allowing contrast, rhythm and shifting spatial illusions to take centre stage.
The video mapping does not replace the façade but reveals the geometries already present within the architecture. The building seems to breathe, responding to invisible forces. Reflecting on the festival theme, Dream On!, the work explores the boundary between rational order and the fluid logic of dreams: what first appears to be solid architecture gradually dissolves into unexpected transformations.
