1. Introductory provisions
1.1 These general terms and conditions (hereinafter referred to as the “Terms”) govern the relationship between Signal Productions s.r.o., Varšavská 516/19, 120 00 Prague 2, ID No.: 24717525 (hereinafter referred to as the “Organizer”), and natural or legal persons who purchase a ticket to the Signal Forum 2025 conference (hereinafter referred to as the “Participant”).
1.2 Signal Forum 2025 will take place on Friday, October 17, 2025, from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. at the French Institute in Prague, Štěpánská 644/35, Prague 1 (Kino 35). The program will be held in Czech and English with interpretation.
1.3 These Terms and Conditions apply exclusively to registration and admission to Signal Forum 2025; they do not apply to other Signal Festival programs.
2. Registration, ticket, and capacity
2.1 Participation is conditional upon registration and payment of the registration fee (hereinafter referred to as the “Fee”) in the amount specified in the order. The capacity of the event is limited; registration is valid only after payment has been credited.
2.2 Ticket = a unique QR code, delivered by email after payment. The QR code is the only valid document for entry.
2.3 Check-in takes place by scanning the QR code with the organizer’s reader; based on the validity of the code, entry is granted or denied.
2.4 The ticket is not tied to a name. The QR code may be transferred to a third party, but at the risk of the original holder – in the event of duplicate use, entry will only be granted to the first code presented.
2.5 The organizer has a control system and reserves the right to block the QR code and deny entry without compensation if misuse is suspected. The detailed control mechanism is not disclosed for security reasons.
3. Price and payment terms
3.1 The fee is a symbolic registration fee of CZK 49, which includes all-day admission to the conference and light refreshments.
3.2 Payment is made online (credit card, Apple Pay, Google Pay, or other methods depending on the payment gateway). Payment on site is not possible.
4. Ticket delivery and informational emails
4.1 After successful payment, the Participant will receive an email with an electronic ticket (QR code). We recommend saving it to Apple/Google Wallet or having a printed version available.
4.2 Before the event, the Participant will receive an informational email with practical instructions and the exact schedule of the program.
4.3 The Participant is responsible for the accuracy of the email address provided during registration; non-delivery due to an incorrect address is not the responsibility of the Organizer.
5. Program and rules of participation
5.1 The Organizer may modify the program as long as the professional level of the event is maintained; changes do not entitle the Participant to a refund.
5.2 Seats in the hall are not numbered; admission is based on capacity.
5.3 Participants are required to follow the Organizer’s instructions and the rules of the venue; violations may result in expulsion without a refund of the Fee.
6. Cancellation, changes, and refunds
6.1 Cancellation of the event by the Organizer: Participants are entitled to a 100% refund of the Fee paid.
6.2 Change of date/venue: the ticket remains valid; the Participant may request a refund within 7 days of notification of the change.
6.3 Cancellation of participation by the Participant: The Participant may request cancellation of their ticket by emailing info@eventlook.cz by October 10, 2025. Eventlook will cancel the ticket and the fee will be refunded. This option is available due to limited capacity and interest in freeing up space for other participants.
6.4 Refunds are technically processed by Eventlook based on the Participant’s request and related conditions. Refunds are not possible after this date.
7. Complaints
7.1 Problems with the QR code (invalidity, illegibility) will be resolved by the organizer’s staff on site.
7.2 Other complaints can be sent to info@eventlook.cz. The organizer will handle the complaint without undue delay, within 30 days at the latest.
8. Processing of personal data and communication
8.1 The organizer processes personal data (name, email, telephone number) for the purposes of registration, ticket delivery, organizational communication, on-site check-in, and complaint handling (Article 6(1)(b) of the GDPR).
8.2 Out of legitimate interest (Article 6(1)(f) of the GDPR), the Organizer may send follow-ups to the event and information about similar programs. Each email contains an unsubscribe link.
8.3 Marketing or content newsletters (e.g., general information about digital culture) are sent only with the express consent of the participant.
8.4 Technical ticketing processing is provided by the contractual processor Eventlook s.r.o. in accordance with Article 28 of the GDPR.
8.5 Participants have the right to request access to their personal data, its correction, deletion, restriction of processing, or to object to its processing. Requests can be sent to info@eventlook.cz.
9. Liability and force majeure
9.1 The organizer is not liable for damage caused by circumstances excluding liability (force majeure), such as natural disasters, power outages, or regulations issued by public authorities.
9.2 Compensation for indirect damage (e.g., lost profits, travel expenses) is excluded, unless prevented by mandatory legal regulations.
10. Final provisions
10.1 Legal relations are governed by the laws of the Czech Republic. Any disputes shall be resolved before the competent court according to the Organizer’s registered office.
